Russian gold-medalist gymnast is called 'Bengal Tiger'

Russian rhythmic gymnast Margarita Mamun, who won the individual all-around gold in Rio, is nicknamed the 'Bengal Tiger' because of her Bengali parentage. Mamun was born in Moscow to a Bangladeshi father and Russian mother, and has represented Bangladesh at the junior level. "I'm really happy knowing that I have a lot of fans in Bangladesh," said the gymnast.
