Patreon CEO Jack Conte in an interview said the firm continues to operate in Russia, adding he doesn't believe individual creators "should have to pay for the misdeeds of their authoritarian leader". "They may disagree with the war, and I don't want to punish them," he added. Conte also said the decision on operations was not controversial internally at Patreon.
