Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine is 95% effective 42 days after 1st dose

A second interim analysis of clinical trial data showed that Sputnik V vaccine was 91.4% effective on day 28 after the first dose and above 95% effective 42 days after the first dose, its developers said on Tuesday. The new clinical trial data was based on 39 confirmed cases and 18,794 patients who got both shots.
