Russia-Ukraine war to accelerate the shift away from oil, gas: BP

Russia's war in Ukraine will accelerate the shift away from oil and gas towards renewables and low-carbon power, BP said in its 2023 Energy Outlook. As per the report, countries will prioritise domestic renewable energy sources as a way to increase security of supply. BP said it now sees a much sharper decline in demand for fossil fuels in 2035.
