Rwanda to reopen border with Uganda after nearly 3 years

Rwanda has announced that it will reopen its border with Uganda on Monday after nearly three years. Notably, this comes after a breakthrough in repairing ties between the two countries. The border was closed after Rwanda repeatedly accused Uganda of supporting rebel groups, while the Ugandan government accused the Rwandan government of carrying out illegal espionage activities.
