Ryanair plane's engine catches fire after hitting flock of birds

The right engine of a Ryanair flight, which was travelling from London to Italy, caught fire after it hit a flock of herons last week. In the video and pictures captured of the incident, some birds could be seen stuck in the plane's engine, while others crashed into the windscreen. However, the pilots managed to make a safe landing.
