Ryanair signs $40-billion deal to buy 300 Boeing aircraft

Irish airline Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary on Tuesday sealed a $40-billion deal with US company Boeing to purchase 300 new aircraft from the latter between 2027 and 2033. The airline said this is the largest order ever placed by an Irish company for US manufactured goods. In 2021, O'Leary broke off talks with Boeing over pricing and delivery issues.
