Rybakina beats 2-time defending champion Sabalenka to win US Open, gets ₹52.5-crore prize money

Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina won her first US Open title after defeating two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 in the final. The 27-year-old claimed her third Grand Slam crown and second major of 2026, after Australian Open. Rybakina, who'll become world number one on Monday for the first time, received prize money of $5.5 million (₹52.5 crore).
