S Korea captain Heung-min apologises to fans after FIFA WC exit

South Korea captain Son Heung-min took to Instagram to apologise to "all the Korean people" and the team's fans following their FIFA World Cup 2026 group-stage exit. "I don't know where to begin. I can't pretend I don't know, and I don't want to escape reality...I would like to say sorry," he wrote. Heung-min added, "I'm indescribably stuck and hurt."
