S'pore minister slams 'shameful’ racist posts targeting Indians over Nepal floods, orders probe

Singapore Senior Minister K Shanmugam called racist online comments linked to the Nepal-Tibet flash floods and Singapore Airlines' investment in Air India "shameful, nasty" and asked police to investigate the matter. PM Lawrence Wong also condemned prejudice and said it must never become accepted or normalised. The racist posts targeted some of the nine Singaporeans missing in the disaster.
