SA bring proxy captain to call at toss, lose 10th straight toss in Asia

South Africa captain Faf du Plessis, who had lost nine consecutive tosses in Asia, brought teammate Temba Bavuma as proxy captain to call at the coin toss ahead of the third Test against India in Ranchi. Team India captain Virat Kohli tossed the coin after which Bavuma incorrectly called heads. India decided to bat first.
