South Africa defeated Australia by eight wickets in semifinal of 2024 Women's T20 World Cup. With the win, South Africa ended Australia's streak of 15 consecutive wins in Women's T20 World Cup. Australia's previous defeat at this competition came in their opening game of 2020 edition against India. This is South Africa's first-ever win against Australia in T20 World Cups.
