World number one Aryna Sabalenka defeated Clara Tauson 7-6 (7/5), 6-4 to advance to the fourth round of the 2025 Australian Open. Sabalenka faced tough resistance in the first set but recovered to claim her eighth consecutive win this season. The Belarusian will now take on either Magdalena Frech or teenage prodigy Mirra Andreeva in the next round.
