Sabalenka celebrates Madrid Open title win after defeating Gauff

World number one Aryna Sabalenka had to battle incredibly hard across two sets, but she ended up defeating Coco Gauff, to win the Madrid Open title with a 6-3, 7-6(7-3) scoreline in the final. During the summit clash, Sabalenka didn’t convert the championship point in the second set, allowing Gauff to force a tie-break, where she recovered in style.
