Sachin Siwach becomes first Indian male boxer to win gold at CWG 2026

Sachin Siwach defeated Namibia’s Tryagain Ndevelo in the men’s 60kg final to become the first Indian male boxer to win gold at CWG 2026. His victory marked India's sixth boxing gold and 12th gold overall at the ongoing Games. India’s boxing tally now stands at eight medals, including six golds and two silvers, with two finals yet to happen.
