Sachin Tendulkar to be named 'National Icon' by Election Commission of India

The Election Commission of India (ECI) will name Sachin Tendulkar as 'National Icon' on Wednesday. "This collaboration would mark a significant step towards leveraging Tendulkar's unparalleled impact with the youth demographic for increasing voters’ participation in the forthcoming elections, especially in General Elections 2024," the ECI said in a statement.
