Saddened, praying for victims' souls: Japan PM on Hathras stampede

Japanese PM Fumio Kishida extended his condolences over the Hathras stampede tragedy that claimed the lives of at least 121 people. "I'm deeply saddened to learn that many precious lives were lost in the stampede...On behalf of the Government of Japan, I pray for the souls of the victims," Kishida said. At least 35 people sustained injuries in the incident.
