Labour Party's Sadiq Khan on Saturday was elected the Mayor of London, to become the first Muslim to head London or any major Western capital. Khan, the son of a Pakistani bus driver, secured a 13.6% margin of victory over Conservative Party's Zac Goldsmith, reportedly the widest in a London mayoral election in 16 years.
