Safari rides to start in Bengaluru's Bannerghatta National Park

Karnataka Forest Department has decided to start a new safari in Bannerghatta National Park (BNP), situated in Bengaluru outskirts. Currently, safaris are only held within the Bannerghatta Biological Park that is located at the edge of the forest. However, conservationists and activists have reportedly questioned the move owing to increased poaching and encroachment.
