Saffron shawl vs Hijab protest erupts at Karnataka college campus

A dress-code clash at CG Bellad Govt First Grade College in Akkialur escalated as over 50 students arrived in saffron shawls to protest hijab use on campus. Students accused the administration of ignoring uniform rules and later criticised a sudden mobile ban. Principal Viresh Kummur said meetings are underway to address concerns and restore order.
