SAI sets up container rooms in Patiala, Bengaluru to prepare athletes for Asian Games

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has set up makeshift container rooms at its centres in Patiala and Bengaluru to help Indian athletes prepare for the accommodation arrangements at the upcoming Asian Games 2026 in Japan. Unlike previous editions, the event won't have a conventional athletes' village. The athletes will reportedly stay in container units, a cruise ship, and hotels.
