Sailing ship with 18 Indian crew onboard catches fire near Strait of Hormuz, 1 dead

One Indian crew member was killed and four other injured after a wooden dhow (sailing ship) caught fire near the Strait of Hormuz, the Consulate General of India in Dubai stated. "They were rescued by a vessel passing by. Indian consulate officials have met the rescued Indians," it added. The dhow, which capsized, was reportedly carrying 18 Indian crew members.
