SAIL's net profit in Q3 FY23 down by 65% to ₹542 cr

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) reported a fall of about 65% in consolidated net profit at ₹542.18 crore in the October-December quarter of 2022-23. The company had posted a profit of ₹1,528.54 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The total expense of the company grew from ₹23,209.88 crore a year ago to ₹24,825.11 crore this year.
