Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya electrification complete for Vande Bharat

Indian Railways has completed the electrification of the challenging Sakleshpur–Subrahmanya ghat section, enabling the Vande Bharat Express to run efficiently between Bengaluru and Mangaluru. The 55-km route, featuring 57 tunnels, 226 bridges, and 108 curves, underwent extensive geological studies and safety tests. The milestone enhances connectivity, operational speed, and efficiency.
