Salah targeted with lasers before penalty miss as Egypt fail to qualify for WC

Senegal fans shone laser in Egypt forward Mohamed Salah's face to distract him ahead of his spot kick in the penalty shootout against Senegal. Senegal won the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification play-off on penalties 3-1 as Egypt failed to qualify for the tournament. Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Elshenawy and other players were also targeted with lasers.
