Sale of platform tickets stopped at 6 railway stations of Mumbai

In view of rising COVID-19 cases, Central Railway has stopped platform tickets' sale at six long-distance train stations in Mumbai with immediate effect. The tickets' sale has been stopped at Mumbai CSMT, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Kalyan, Thane, Dadar and Panvel stations. He said the decision has been taken to avoid an unnecessary rush at these stations.
