Salesforce buys AI agent firm Fin for ₹34,000 crore days after new layoffs

Salesforce has agreed to acquire AI customer service platform Fin for $3.6 billion (around ₹34,000 crore). Fin offers an AI agent that can resolve customer queries across multiple channels. The deal comes days after Salesforce carried out fresh layoffs affecting 86 employees, following a January workforce reduction that impacted fewer than 1,000 workers.
