Salesforce to lay off dozens of employees for 4th time within a year

Salesforce is planning to lay off dozens of employees starting in October, according to a formal notice filed with state officials. This will mark the software giant’s fourth round of layoffs in under a year. The company previously cut 262 jobs in San Francisco last September, followed by hundreds of layoffs in February and another 86 job cuts in June.
