Salt Is A Global Killer, Causes 1.89 Million Deaths

The World Health Organization has said around 1.89 million people die every year because of too much salt consumption, which causes high blood pressure and deadly heart problems. Various studies say an average person consumes around 9-12 grams of salt daily, with processed foods being the highest contributor. But doctors generally recommend limiting sodium intake to 1,500-2,300 mg per day.
