Sam Altman reveals why users want ChatGPT's 'yes man' tone back, says 'It's heartbreaking'

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said it's "great" ChatGPT is less of a 'yes man' but it's "heartbreaking" that users are demanding its return as they're lacking a supportive environment. "I've never had a parent telling I was doing a good job," Altman said quoting user feedbacks. Some users said the tone was "great for [their] mental health", he added.
