Sam Curran, who was retained for ₹18.5 cr in IPL 2024, bought by CSK for ₹2.4 cr

All-rounder Sam Curran, who was the most expensive buy of IPL 2023 auction after PBKS bought him for ₹18.5 crore, was bought by CSK in the IPL 2025 mega auction for ₹2.4 crore. Curran was retained by PBKS for ₹18.5 crore for IPL 2024 but released ahead of 2025 mega auction. He has taken 58 wickets in 59 IPL matches.
