Samir Modi, who claimed his mother beat him at board meeting, withdraws cases against her

Samir Modi, a member of the family that owns Godfrey Phillips India, has withdrawn all legal cases against his mother, Bina Modi. Samir had claimed in 2024 that Bina had beaten him up at a board meeting amid their ₹11,000-crore inheritance battle. "I don't want to fight...I don't like conflicts. I'm not a fighter. I'm a builder," Samir told ET.
