Samsung Electronics urges union to resume talks: Report

Samsung Electronics has asked its South Korean labour union to resume pay talks after government-mediated negotiations collapsed, Reuters reported. Labour Commission has urged both sides to hold another round of talks on Saturday to avoid a prolonged strike. "There is no reason to continue the dialogue without institutionalisation and transparency," union representative said on the failed talks.
