Samsung responds to Dua Lipa's ₹143-cr lawsuit over image use

Samsung has issued a statement after singer Dua Lipa sued the company for $15 million (about ₹143 crore), alleging unauthorised use of her face in 2025 to sell TVs. "Ms Lipa’s image was used...to reflect the content of our third-party partners...available on Samsung TVs," the firm said. Partners had assured getting permission for the image's use, Samsung added.
