Samsung to hike foldable phone prices amid chip shortage: Report

Samsung will raise the prices of its upcoming foldable phones amid an ongoing AI memory chip shortage, The Korea Herald reported. Samsung will hike the price for its Galaxy Z Flip8 to about 13% over its predecessor, the report added, citing leaked pricing from Korean telecom distribution channels. Samsung is reportedly expected to unveil the new devices on July 22.
