Samsung workers agree to get ₹3.25 crore each to call off strike at chip unit

Samsung Electronics' chip workers have voted in favour of receiving a $340,000 (over ₹3.25 crore) bonus each for calling off a strike that threatened to disrupt the global chip market. About 74% of the members voted in favour of the compensation deal. This comes as chip workers globally push to secure larger shares of the profits their companies make.
