Sandeep Kumar Gupta appointed as GAIL Chairman and Managing Director

GAIL (India) Limited has announced the appointment of Sandeep Kumar Gupta as the Chairman & Managing Director of the company. Gupta, who previously served as Director (Finance) at Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), replaces Manoj Jain, whose term ended on August 31. Gupta said the company is aligned with the government's vision of having a gas-based economy.
