Sanjay Nirupam's old video falsely linked to Maharashtra elections

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam's old video is circulating online asking the public to vote for BJP and not to "waste" their votes on Congress party. The video is captioned, "Listen to Maharashtra Congress veteran Sanjay Nirupam #Maharashtraelections." However, Nirupam made the request during Lok Sabha polls in April when he was not a part of Congress, The Quint reported.
