Sanju Samson reaches highest first-class score since 2022

Sanju Samson batted at a strike rate of 107.2, hitting 10 fours and three sixes in his unbeaten 89 off 83 balls in his Duleep Trophy match vs India D. This is Samson's highest score in first-class cricket since December 2022, when he scored 82 against Rajasthan. His last first-class hundred came nearly five years ago in December 2019.
