Team India opener Sanju Samson on Sunday smashed the highest score in a final in T20 World Cup history. He scored 89(46) in T20 World Cup 2026 final against New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. West Indies' Marlon Samuels held the previous record, scoring 85*(66) against England in the 2016 final.
