Sanju Samson wins Player of the Tournament award at T20 World Cup 2026

Team India opener Sanju Samson has won the Player of the Tournament award at T20 World Cup 2026. Samson scored 321 runs in five innings in the tournament. He scored 89 runs each in the semi-final and the final. Samson was not a regular in India's playing XI in the initial stages of the tournament.
