Sanskrit made compulsory in all U'khand schools from class 3 to 8

Uttarakhand government has made Sanskrit language compulsory in all government and private schools from classes three to eight. Arvind Pandey, state's School and Sanskrit Education Minister, made the announcement about the move and said that this generation should know this ancient language. "We must acknowledge that this language has enriched our culture beyond measure," Pandey added.
