Sarvam AI appoints ex-Google Cloud India MD as President

Sarvam AI has hired Sashikumar Sreedharan, former Google Cloud India Managing Director, as President and Chief Business Officer. Fresh from a $234 mn funding round valuing it at $1.5 bn, the company plans a US office, added adviser Devendra Chaplot, and is developing larger AI models for coding and cybersecurity while prioritizing India's digital sovereignty.
