Sasikala announces name of her new party ahead of Tamil Nadu polls

Expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala on Friday announced the name and launched the symbol of her new party in Chennai. The party will be known as 'All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam', with a 'coconut tree grove' as its symbol, she announced. This development comes ahead of the state elections, scheduled to happen in 2026.
