Satellite image shows 70% of India without rain clouds
Days after the southwest monsoon covered the entire country, satellite images on Saturday (July 11) showed nearly 70-80% of India with minimal cloud cover, with large parts receiving little to no rainfall. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, and eastern UP are likely to witness isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall.
