Satellite image shows Monsoon clouds almost disappeared from India

A satellite image shared by the India Meteorological Department shows that the southwest monsoon appears to have almost disappeared over India, with the country recording a rainfall deficit of 28% so far this season. This slowdown of the monsoon comes despite it making further advances into parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
