Satellite images show before & after state of dried up Chennai lakes

Amid ongoing water crisis in Tamil Nadu, satellite images have revealed the extent to which water bodies in Chennai have dried up. The images show a comparison between the water bodies' state on June 15 in 2018 and 2019. They show an overview of Puzhal lake and Chembarambakkam Lake in the Tamil Nadu capital.
