Satellite images show over 1,000 km-long cloud cover over Bay of Bengal

Satellite images taken by ISRO have revealed an over 1,000 km-long cloud cover over the Bay of Bengal. As per IMD, a deep depression formed over the Bay on Monday morning and is very likely to move nearly north-northwestwards and cross the West Bengal-north Odisha coasts during the afternoon. This may prolong rainfall over many states, India Today reported.
