Before-after pics show snow-rock landslide that triggered devastating flash floods in Nepal
Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has shared satellite images from Planet Labs showing the aftereffects of a snow-rock landslide 20 km northeast of the Nepal-Tibet Rasuwagadhi border crossing. The massive landslide would have temporarily blocked water in the Lhende River before the sudden release, which caused devastating flash floods in Nepal, it said.
