Satellite pic shows 1,500 km long monsoon rain band from Bengal to Kashmir

Satellite imagery showed the formation of a nearly 1,500-km-long monsoon trough stretching from the northern Bay of Bengal to J&K, a key weather system that is expected to trigger widespread rainfall across the region in the coming days. This comes as IMD said conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, MP and UP.
